Even the public library has seeds 😲🌿

Published by

I went to the library to drop off my returns, and I discovered they offer a seed catalog! 😲🥳

So naturally, I grabbed a few seed packets to add to my midsummer seed order. 😆🌿

The seed packets I chose were Chinese giant sweet pepper, okra, cilantro, and parsley.

I know it might be a little too late to start the Chinese giant sweet peppers, but I’m going to try planting a couple of seeds.

The other day, I accidentally spilled some of my cilantro seeds, so that’s why I grabbed another pack.

I went ahead and planted the pepper and okra seeds in seed trays. Then, I added some cilantro and parsley seeds to the herb pots I currently have growing.

Just making the most of this growing season! 😁🌿

Such a funny surprise—a toad swimming in our rainwater bucket. 🐸💦

What a delightful post! I love how you turned a simple library visit into a little gardening adventure. Discovering a seed catalog at the library is such a wonderful surprise, and it’s inspiring to see you making the most of the growing season.

Your enthusiasm is contagious, and I admire your optimism in giving the Chinese giant sweet peppers a chance. Gardening is all about hope, patience, and enjoying the journey. I hope your peppers, okra, herbs, and everything else thrive beautifully.

thank you, friend! 😊 I love gardening! I agree with you that gardening is about hope, patience, and enjoying the journey. Gardening teaches me so much about growing foods and life wisdoms. 🙏🏽😌

I also love that the library offers free seeds for their patrons. It’s a great way to get more people gardening, even if it’s just a simple kitchen garden.

Yes, I thought I’d t least try to grow one Chinese giant sweet pepper plant. It might just produce a few peppers, but I will be happy with that! 😁 (I did save some seeds to start next year. 😎)
