I miss old-school blogging (what I like to call OG blogging 😎), when personal blogs were simply online journals about everyday life—not algorithms, not viral posts.

Since age 18, I’ve always kept a blog—remember the WebTV blogging days 😂 back in 1999? I blogged when I was in college. I gave mom-blogging a try before the influencer industry got big and wild. I even ran a local city blog for 6+ years.

Dude, I’ve lost count of the blogs I started over the years! Lol

Now, at 45, I’m returning to OG blogging 😎because TBH social media stresses me out and just moves too fast for me! Lol 😂😏

A little bit about me…

Hey, y’all! I’m Jenn—a wife (15 years 🥰), mama ×6, homemaker, home educator, and urban gardener.

Originally from Tennessee, my family and I moved to Michigan about 11 years ago following my husband’s active duty Army service.

In my free time, I enjoy my “grandma hobbies” 👵🏽: reading, watching BBC period dramas, crafting, jewelry making, thrift/vintage shopping, listening to jazz/folk/classical music, and quiet moments in my cozy, little house with a good cup of tea.

And I’m obsessed with all things cottagecore! 😍🏡🌿

I’m just doing my best to slow down and savor everyday life. 😌 Thank you for reading and connecting!
