Last night, we watched Skyscraper Live on Netflix. Did you see it?

It’s about free solo climber Alex Honnold climbing one of the world’s tallest buildings in Taipei, Taiwan.

Alex successfully climbed Taipei 101 in about 93 minutes with no gear! 😲 We were amazed at his bravery and great strength.

Last night, we watched on Netflix free solo climber Alex Honnold successfully climbed Taipei 101—one of the tallest buildings in the world!

While watching Alex climb Taipei 101, I just kept thinking to myself: what makes a person want to climb such high structures like that? What is going through their mind when they are so high up?

I don’t even like flying in airplanes 😫, high bridges creep me out, and I will probably never ride a roller-coaster again in my life! 🫣😆

So, how does a person find the motivation to want to climb high mountains and very tall skyscrapers?

Alex Honnold’s bravery and great climb has given me something to think deeply about in regards to my own life motivations.

And on that note, here are a few moments from today!

House Sparrows and Mourning Doves frantically eating seeds at the bird feeders on my patio.
All the birds that come to my patio for seeds always fight each other over the bird feeders. It’s kind of comical to watch. 😂🐦
Zephaniah (8) helping me cut oranges for Sunday breakfast. 🍊
Sunday breakfast was homemade French Toast and omelets. I’m not so good at folding omelets like Travis. 🍳
Another snow day today. 😏❄️ I was surprised the plow trucks weren’t out today. Maybe because it was Sunday? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Maybe they plowed the roads after 2 p.m.
Despite the snow, we still made it out to church. ❄️🙏🏽💙
There was a bake sale after church. 🍪 We bought the kids some cookies. 😊
The kids were excited to pick out cookies at the church bake sale. 🍪😊

I told my husband even Jesus is tired of all this snow! ❄️😫😆 It has been such a snowy winter!
