Today was a jewelry-making day.
I’ve been working on handmade jewelry pieces for my mom’s Christmas gift. It’s been slowly coming together over the past few days.
I had hoped to finish it early enough to mail so it would arrive before Christmas, but that didn’t quite happen.
There’s been a lot to juggle lately— appointments at the dentist and doctor, homeschooling, etc.
Time has felt especially short.
Still, I finally finished her jewelry today — and that feels good.
Tomorrow, I’ll package it up and send it on its way. I can’t wait for my mom to see the gifts we made for her.
I wish I could be there in person to see her reaction when she opens the gifts. It makes me sad that we live so far away from my mom.
But despite not being there in person with her, it does bring me joy to know we made her a handmade gift with so much love.
